Donate to Lavender Touch
If you’d like to help Scottish Borders-based charity Lavender Touch, here are some of the ways you can donate to help those living with cancer
Contrary to what people imagine, we do not receive any funding or grants to pay for the service we provide within the community, the Macmillan Unit, The Renal Unit or the Margaret Kerr unit…….we do it all ourselves. A small charity paying for a big service! We will give into the thousands of treatments annually.
We at Lavender Touch have to find in excess of £80,000 per year to offer Border folk, and their carers, Lavender Touch therapy treatments. The four Trustees, who are responsible for the charity and finding the money, do this VOLUNTARILY and DO NOT get paid. Two of them, Jan and Sheila have been doing this since they started the service over 16 years ago.
We really need your help.
Would you consider giving a regular amount to help us? Doesn’t matter how much – every little helps. This can be done in order to help with the continuation of our service, or as an acknowledgement of the support, we may have given to a friend or relative. A mention of this can be made below if you so wish.
Imagine, next time you spot one of our Lavender Touch Therapists around the BGH or in the community in the Borders, you could be proud to think that your money is going to pay for what they do with the help they are giving those living with cancer in the Scottish Borders.
Natural products developed by clinical aromatherapists, and specially designed to help you or a loved one deal with the side effects of cancer and its treatment.
