On joining us Lorna said.
“This year marks my 40th year in retail. 25 years in Charity and 20 years as Charity Shop Manager. My first charity experience was with Capability Scotland, which raises funds for Cerebral Palsy. Then I went to manage Help the Aged, which then became Age Scotland.
I left there to take on the challenge of a flagship furniture store with Tomorrow’s People, who help vulnerable youngsters into the working environment. Tomorrow’s people then became Shaw Trust.
I took early retirement in July 2019 but found I missed my charity input and volunteering just wasn’t the same for me.
I joined Lavender touch in February 2020 and am thoroughly enjoying being back in the charity sector”.
